Being a game beta tester does not require any special skill except the skill of gaming which everyone has because you do not need to be a expert gamer. Why is that? Well simply because the companies that are paying you for the testing want to know how the general public likes the game and not just the extreme die hard gamers.
Being a game tester is a great job because it offers so much more than any other job. The main reasons why it is superior to the rest is:
- You can actually enjoy what you are doing.
- You can work from your house, if it is even considered work because all you do is play and write down the things you really enjoy about the game, the things you hate about the game and the things you would like to be added.
- The pay is great.
- You can do it when ever you want to.
- And many more great reasons!
I found out about game testing from a friend who was making a good income from testing the games so i asked him how it works. Ounce he told me, i bought a license ( this is just a membership that has to be bought, it is usually very cheap and anyone can get it, even teens) and started testing games myself. After a few weeks of getting used to it, it easy extremely easy for me to test the game and give my thoughts about it.
But be aware because some sites are fake, in other words, scams and the membership you get is just a ponzi scheme. They take your cash and leave. There are still real and legit sites, and those are the ones you should look at. Just because a site looks better than another one, it does not mean it is better.
